The Virtual Studio
Hi! Nicole Elizabeth's Virtual Studio is ideal for anyone looking to tackle a project on their own but can benefit from an experienced interior designer's expertise. Every Virtual Studio client receives a two-hour consultation, a collection of designer insights that will elevate the professional quality of the finished project, and a detailed plan for completing the project. We offer three unique Virtual Studio packages to meet our clients' varied needs, from a comprehensive consultation and follow up to a full design experience from start to finish. We devised our process so that no design experience is required, just a do-it-yourself spirit and a willingness to have a little fun in the process.

HOW IS THE VIRTUAL STUDIO DIFFERENT FROM OTHER E-DESIGN SERVICES?Nicole Elizabeth INTRS takes a team approach to all of our projects. That means, instead of one designer working on your project, the full creative power of the studio is working with you to design your space. Led by our founder and principal designer, Danielle Wolfrom, our team constantly collaborates to come up with the best solutions to not only create a beautiful room but one that functions the way you need it to. Our process is tailored to you with Zoom calls, a personalized project portal, and collaboration throughout. Much like our full interior design service experience. We do not simply deliver a concept or room mock-up. We design a complete project including an installation guide and the tips and tricks we use so that the end result is a polished designer room. Speaking of the final design, we source specific, ready-to-purchase finishes and furnishings that are available through online retailers. We have no retail or vendor affiliations. We source the most interesting, beautiful, and best products for you from any vendor. We do not receive kickbacks, markups, or any income from your purchases. Our income is derived from the flat rate interior design fee only.

WHICH ROOMS CAN I DESIGN WITH THE VIRTUAL STUDIO?As long as major construction (i.e. moving or building new walls, plumbing, electric, or HVAC) is not part of your plan you can design pretty much any room. This includes living room, dining room, open living/dining space, entryway, bedroom (kids, master, or guest), home office, nursery, outdoor living spaces and even a kitchen or bathroom. The Edit is perfect if you are looking to design a small section of a room for work from home, home gym, or home schooling. The Update is perfect if you want to redesign a whole room but keep the flooring and other finishes (not including paint color) the same. The Revamp is perfect for kitchen and bathroom projects where plumbing, electric, and cabinetry are not moving or being reconfigured. This service is also great for larger rooms that serve multiple functions such as open concept living/dining rooms and finished basements.

CAN YOU INCORPORATE MY EXISTING PIECES?Absolutely! We love working client’s sentimental pieces into their space. Just know that we will need photos and dimensions of the pieces you want to include.
-
I NEED TO DESIGN A WORK–FROM–HOME OR HOME–SCHOOL AREA BUT NOT A WHOLE ROOM. CAN YOU HELP?Yes! Check out our Edit virtual service.
-
HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE MY COMPLETED DESIGN?It can take anywhere between 2-8 weeks for us to present your final design depending on the service you selected. Check out the individual services page for more info. Turn around is also dependent on how long it takes for the client to send us all the information we need as well as how responsive they are.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE SOMETHING IN MY DESIGN PACKAGE?That’s OK! If there is anything in your design that does not resonate with you, we change it! We have an easy process for communicating your desired revisions. After our Design Presentation Zoom call you will receive a Revisions & Re-selects form. You have a full week to sit with your design and then submit your feedback. We provide one round of revisions and re-selects, with no limit on how many items you want to change. After you submit your Revisions & Re-selects form, any additional requested changes are charged at our hourly rate of $150.

HOW MUCH WORK DO I HAVE TO DO?Because this is a virtual service there is a little bit of work for you to do in the beginning. We will ask you to take photos of your room and any furniture you are keeping from all angles. We also need to see how the furniture is going to get into the space, so entryways and stairs are key. Our motto is measure everything and you won’t have to cut the bed in half to get it in (yes that has happened). Once you upload the photos we will sketch out a floor plan for you to take your measurements on. That’s pretty much it though! We will go through everything in our Zoom call and might need a random measurement or two. As always though the more details you can give us the smoother your project will go!
-
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO FINISH MY ROOM ONCE I HAVE THE DESIGN?The timing is completely up to you, but we strongly recommend purchasing and installing your project as soon as you have the final design. If you have a specific deadline, please schedule a 15 Minute Chat with us prior to purchasing your service. Please remember that manufacturers’ lead times can vary and sometimes take 12 weeks or more. Also, availability of furniture and finishes changes quickly and constantly, and we cannot guarantee that the products in your design will be available for any length of time. We don't want to see you miss out on that perfect light fixture because you waited three months to purchase it and the retailer sold out. We also know that the sooner you complete your space, the sooner you will be happily enjoying it!
-
CAN WE STILL WORK TOGETHER IF I DON'T LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA?Of course we can! That’s the beauty of The Virtual Studio. We are thrilled to work with clients all over the globe, however, there is one important caveat. We source from vendors and retailers that we know can deliver within the US. Unfortunately, we are not able to ensure that the retailers we source from will deliver all over the world, or that the shipping and delivery charges will be reasonable. If you are located outside of the US, please consider carefully that shipping and delivery charges might be much higher for the products we source in your design, and we cannot guarantee availability.

HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT?Once you purchase your service you will be asked to login to your custom project portal. Here you will find everything you need to make sure our Zoom call is as productive as possible. Before the meeting, you will fill out a questionnaire and upload pictures of your space (amateur photos are fine, clutter, and all!) to your project portal. You can also include any inspiration photos you have. The more details you provide, the more prepared we will be heading into our call.
