West Philadelphia Bachelor Pad

I am so very excited to share this great project with you! This West Philadelphia Bachelor Pad is our first completed turn-key project.

This was a true whirlwind project as we only had two weeks from the time we were contacted to when our client was moving in. That meant designing, selecting, sourcing, and installing EVERYTHING for this one-bedroom apartment in a matter of days and not weeks.

The Concept

Project Concept Board

Typically I would sit down with a potential client, talk through their vision for the space, and get a read on the space itself before putting together and presenting a concept, but in this case, “ain’t nobody got time for that.” After I accepted the job and asked what styles he liked, the client responded with the following: minimal, light and attached photo from Roche Bobois. Our final concept, as you can see, is a mix of moody neutrals, clean lines, and masculine notes.

The Finished Project

We were lucky, the exposed beam ceilings and angled walls and soffits packed the space with great original character. In the end we delivered a balanced mix of light-filled spaces and darker masculine furnishings that created a clean but cozy apartment. Take a look and be sure to let us know what you think!
